SUSAN BATSON on NEED from her best seller TRUTH www.susanbatsonstudio.com

The actor willing drops into vulnerablity...Once in, the actor has entered the intimacy of the character—which allows the audience the privilege to “in-to-me-see” the character. This intimacy...transcends every possible language barrier. No interpreter is needed. No sign language is needed. The mere energy of the operation of the unfulfilled need of the character communicates instantly whether it’s on stage or in film”

Graduate of the National Theatre School in Montreal Canada Suzanne currently continues her training with her mentor Susan Batson in her New York Studios.

Jamaican born Suzanne Coy, also known as ZAN is a seasoned character actor and master of dialects. This brilliant, versatile performer always brings something unique to her work. Suzanne is working with her critically acclaimed partners (in Australia and America) to bring a number of films to completion.

For the past 20 years Suzanne taught acting in North America.
She also enjoys writing and performing comedy and poetry locally.

The actors job is to do what most humans don’t allow themselves to do and that is to feel without defense, denial or resistance (while staying responsible to the story and its context). Ideally the actor is the modern day GRIOT who speaks from Soul, touching and open hearts which gives permission for others to release and learn and grow in their understanding and capacity practice Divine Love. Life is just a sacred classroom where we set up dramas for our own evolution.
